Brand Strategy and Copywriting for a Fashion Brand: Black Market

Black Market is a fashion e-commerce brand built around a bold, contemporary aesthetic and a digitally native shopping experience.

In my role, I helped bring the brand to life online by building out foundational brand guidelines and shaping a clear, cohesive identity from the ground up. Working closely with the founders, I translated their vision into a brand system that could carry consistently across digital and social channels.

From there, I helped establish how the brand showed up across its early touchpoints, including website, social, and launch marketing. This involved defining tone of voice, tightening messaging, and making sure everything felt aligned, intentional, and ready to scale as the brand grew.
